He began his career at Warner/Chappell Music Publishing Canada and later helped develop early production music collections at Morning Music. In 2005, anticipating the digital transformation of the industry, Jean founded Music For Productions—the first online provider in Canada for music licensing services—growing the ready-to-use music catalog to hundreds of thousands of tracks. He continues to champion fair practices and innovative solutions in licensing, music supervision, and production music services.
