Media

National TV/Radio/Internet Advertising campaign

The Challenge

The agency required permission to use a well-known copyrighted song for a national retail campaign, including approval to adapt the lyrics into a parody version aligned with the campaign concept.
Music For Productions acted as the licensing agent and liaison between the rights holders, publisher, and creative team. We negotiated publishing rights, secured approvals for lyrical adaptation, and ensured all licensing requirements were met.

The Solution

The agency required permission to use the well-known copyrighted song The Song That Never Ends, widely recognized from Lamb Chop’s Play-Along, hosted by Shari Lewis. The track was to be featured in a national retail campaign, with revised lyrics adapted into a parody version aligned with the campaign’s creative concept, requiring formal approval from the rights holders.

The Result

Music For Productions acted as the licensing agent and central liaison between the rights holders, publisher, and creative team. On behalf of our client, we negotiated the publishing rights, secured approval for the lyrical adaptation, coordinated all contractual clearances, and ensured every licensing requirement was properly addressed—allowing the campaign to move forward with full legal compliance and creative integrity.
