Jean is a dynamic creative executive specializing in music publishing, online licensing, and digital development across a wide range of verticals. As a sub-publisher for multiple international music catalogs spanning various genres. He is also a music publisher recognized for his significant contributions to the production music industry. He began his career at Warner/Chappell Music Publishing Canada. When the company’s administrative services were transferred to the U.S., he joined his mentor, Mark Altman, at Morning Music. There, he developed a strong interest in production music libraries and contributed to the creation of Morning Music’s first collections.

In 2005, anticipating the digital transformation of the industry, Anfossi founded Music for Productions (MFP), Canada’s first online provider of music licensing services. MFP offers an extensive production music library, simplifying the process of discovering and purchasing music for various projects. Under his leadership, MFP has expanded its catalog through various partnerships and sub-publishing deals  growing its offerings today to over 300,000 + tracks.

In July 2016, he was featured in a SOCAN MAGAZINE article.

In May 2020, Anfossi highlighted through a press release the importance of Canadian businesses, video producers, and game creators respecting music copyrights to avoid costly lawsuits. He promoted MFP’s services as a resource to help these entities meet legal licensing requirements.
